Pogo Rage: The Awakening, is the product of the “Rage Games” genre put into one.

A singular goal was in mind during the developmental process:
To test the will of the mind.

Features of others in its class such as challenging jumps and psychologically excruciating falls… Just weren’t ever enough for me.

I wanted the player to feel true agony:

The sounds
Some graphics
The mechanics
The levels
And many more surprises

All carefully designed to put the player through anguish.
Even the framerate you choose to play on will affect the mechanics of the game.

The “reward” at the end is an enigma of its own, the beginning of something extraordinary, given to me by a third party.
It serves as the purpose to finish.

You will jump with your clumsy pogo stick again and again, but each time you become skillful in your movement a new challenge will emerge.
This is a long journey that starts with a single leap.
